Cookie Policy
Effective from 6. 7. 2026
This policy explains what cookies are, which categories we use on this website and how to manage your choices. The website is operated by Timewood — Ismail (Zak) Yildiz, based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Our practices follow Canada's PIPEDA, Alberta's PIPA, Quebec's Law 25 and the tracking-technology provisions of CASL (s. 8), which require your consent before non-essential technologies are installed on your device.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They remember your choices, ensure the site works properly and — with your consent — measure traffic and show relevant advertising. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels.
Your consent
A consent banner appears on your first visit. Nothing but strictly necessary technology runs before you choose — no analytics or advertising script is loaded until you opt in. Consent is voluntary, given per category, and can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the homepage footer. We ask again after 12 months at the latest. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
Cookie categories

Analytics / statistics

Preferences
Remember choices such as language or region and personalise the site.
Legal basis: Express opt-in consent; withdrawable at any time.
Examples: Storing the selected interface language.
Third-party cookies and cross-border processing
Analytics and advertising cookies may be set by third parties (Google, Meta) that act as independent organizations under their own privacy policies. These providers may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union, where it may be accessible to foreign authorities under local law.
How to manage cookies
Change your choices any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Cookies can also be blocked or deleted in your browser settings, and you can enable “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect the site's basic functionality or your ability to book a workshop.
